Teaching

I have taught courses on topics such economic institutions, industrial relations, HRM, gender and race issues at work, Marxist political economy, digital capitalism, automation and the future of work.

Currently, I am the Convenor & Module Leader, for the MA/MsC module on Human and Industrial Relations at the University of Sussex. This module aims to introduce students to concepts, issues and debates around human resource management, employment and industrial relations. Some of the topics that may be included: specific HRM function areas (such as pay/rewards systems, working time, employee voice at the company or sector level); the meaning and variability in the interpretation of high performance HRM systems; the global diffusion of HRM practices; gendered dimensions of HRM practices; diversity management; corporate social responsibility issues; green jobs and just trasitions, etc.
